At Spa721, skincare and relaxation is our passion, and can be seen on every client that walks out the door. Through ongoing education, Spa721 stays up to date on the latest skincare trends and techniques to offer you a wide variety of skincare treatment service options.
Everyone always asks "How did you come up with the name Spa721?" To which I reply "Oh it's my birthday!" Numbers mean a lot to me, and the numbers 7 and 21 are my favorite numbers, so it seemed fitting to make it the name of my business.
My early passion for esthetics started in high school, when my friends would ask me to do their makeup for homecoming and prom. Shortly after, my friends started getting married and would ask me to do makeup for their weddings. I was so excited they wanted ME to do their makeup instead of a professional. That is what originally gave me the courage and inspiration to look into skincare a little deeper.
Fast forward a couple years to 22, I was diagnosed with skin cancer (basal cell) which led me to research everything about the largest organ in the body, The Skin. A deep rabbit hole of Google searches later, I finally signed up for esthetics school. After graduating, I worked in a salon/spa to advance my career and gain valuable insight on how the industry works. From there, I became a mobile esthetician traveling to my clients homes. Traveling became too much for me after 2 years, so I opened Spa721's first location.
I've been an Esthetician for the past 10 years now with ongoing skincare education and advanced techniques training. I've also been published in the book, A Holistic Practitioner's Guide to Business, by Laura Allen.
I absolutely LOVE helping my clients achieve their skincare goals and making you look and feel your beautiful best. I also offer skincare education on how to keep your complexion healthy and glowing! Along with product recommendations to maintain your results at home between appointments.
My Philosophy: Gratitude, Peace, Love, Joy, Happiness, Healing, Trust
I have always known that I wanted a career where I could help people. I began my undergraduate studies in psychology, but I had no idea what kind of job I would pursue when I graduated. This was the time that I started struggling with my own skin.
My passion for esthetics came from trying to address my own skin concerns. I spent hours on the internet trying to find solutions, but I learned that one size does not fit all and I needed to know more! Practically overnight, I decided to change course and go to school for esthetics. Immediately, I knew that this was what I wanted to do! I fell in love with learning as much as I could about our skin, skin treatments, and how to create lasting results.
My favorite part about my job is not only making my clients happier and more confident in their own skin, but being able to educate them on how to maintain their desired results! I know how much skin concerns can affect self-confidence, and that’s why I am so passionate about skincare and esthetic treatments. It’s not just about “fixing” a problem, but taking the time and care to enhance your own natural beauty.
I've been practicing massage for 6 years and love every minute of it! I began my journey with massage to try and help those that struggle with chronic pain. I started my own business under the name of Bloom & Balance Massage because I believe in mastering the balance between relaxing massage and therapeutic massage. By allowing the muscles of the body to fully relax with a gentle touch, I find that I can release those stubborn spots without having to use intense pressure. I also believe in the power of silence. I love catching up with my clients, but I also respect that for most people, a massage is the chance to rest physically and mentally.
At this point in my career, I specialize in head, neck and shoulder problems. As I suffer from chronic migraines, I have studied the causes in depth and found that tension headaches can stem from a variety of issues, such as shoulder pain, jaw clenching, and so much more. Although my specialty is the upper body I'm well versed in issues like sciatic nerve pain, plantar fasciitis, and more. Recently certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, I'm able to help you identify which areas of the body need to be strengthened in order to take some of the stress off of your over used muscles. If you'd like to learn more about my approach to muscle health or if you're interested in booking a session, please check out my website at www.bloomandbalancemassage.com
